Get your head out of your 81 butt!
Seriously: I think you will like this one. I don't download a lot, and, gasp, I confess, I'm not the deadhead I once was--but this one took me by surprise. Fall of '72 was my last hurrah with the band. I followed them through the September east coast swing (Roosevelt, Waterbury, Stanley Theater, Spectrum) and again for the midwest swing through Ohio and Detroit until I was almost blind from the mirror balls. These were great shows: but the southwest tour--as good if not better. They were alternating D.S. and the Other One and doing Playin' almost every night. Everyone was at the top of his game. Too bad they disbanded so soon aftr.

although it's occupied by the Jehova's witnesses they still give tours - would you want to take one just to "have one of those flashes"?

It's supposed to be one of the great original theatres - ie.stairways,balconies,lounges,murie;s,etc.. - left in the country.

I used to drive by it (88-90) all the time but never stopped in - wish I had.

The shows (lists are pretty awesome) were good I would imagine - what was the booze scene like, assuming u remember?
